Dr. Tao graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1994. He has gained extensive experience and has worked at various positions throughout Sydney. In 1998, Dr. Tao took over and led two successful clinics in Southern Sydney and Wollongong before deciding to settle down in Croydon Park in 2004.

Dr. Tao has made it his goal to provide the highest level of dental care for all his patients. He strongly believes in providing quality, personalised patient care and endeavours to deliver dental treatments that give his patients the ability to smile with confidence. Patients appreciate his light and gentle touch and bedside manner.

He is committed to continuing education, with heavy emphasis on surgery and general dentistry. His passion for continuing education allows him to provide his patients with a comprehensive and cutting-edge approach to dental treatment. Dr. Tao has completed further studies in orthodontics including Invisalign/ClearCorrect and has completed courses in both cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.

On a personal level, his interests outside dentistry includes spending quality time with his family, travel, theatre and music, connecting with nature, water sports and enjoying culinary delights from different cultures.

Dr Alfred Tao was born and grew up in the western suburbs of Sydney. He attended Fort Street High School before embarking on his tertiary studies at the University of Sydney. Dr Alfred has always had a passion for healthcare whereby he completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy prior to completing his Bachelor of Dentistry in which he graduated with honours. From very early on in his career, he recognised that there was a significant link between the health of the mouth and the rest of the body. He sees the importance of treating his patients as a whole and not just the teeth alone.

Dr Alfred has spent his career working in private practices and has also worked in the public system at the Sydney Dental Hospital, providing a holistic approach in his dental care to all his patients. He caters to the needs of both growing children, teens and adults.

Dr Alfred is passionate about continuing education and he regularly attends conferences and training throughout Australia and overseas to best serve his patients with the most current and advanced techniques. He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, implants, orthodontics, and minor oral surgery. He enjoys taking his time to get to know his patients and explaining treatment options and solutions that are tailored to each individual patient based on their dental goals.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Alfred enjoys photography, rock climbing and being active at the gym or exploring the great outdoors.

Dr Centia Succar was born and grew up in Sydney, Australia. She went to Santa Sabina College, before completing her tertiary education at the University of Sydney. Here she obtained two degrees with Honors, firstly with a Bachelor of Medical Science in 2006 before completing a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2010. She was awarded many prestigious awards including the Sydney University award for Proficiency in Prosthodontics as well as the University’s Sydney Levine Prize for Periodontology and the Australian Society for Periodontology award.

Centia has been practicing in Sydney since 2011 with particular interests in Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Surgery. She has worked in both the private and public sector, including the department of Dental and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital. Working alongside Sydney’s leading Surgeons and Consultants, she has gained extensive skills and knowledge in the management of severely medically compromised patients.

Enhancing her knowledge and skills with ongoing professional education is fundamental to Centia because she believes it is important to care for her patients with the latest methods and up to date research. Recently, she Completed the Master Clinician of Dental Implants with Global Institute of Dental Education and has previously  attended an international conference, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in Toronto where she enhanced her techniques in conservative and aesthetic dentistry. She is also trained in the dental management of sleep apnea and snoring, invisalign and laser Dentistry. She is a passionate dentist and her goal is to ensure that her patients receive comprehensive treatment which is tailored to their individual needs by focusing on the whole body and her patient’s general wellbeing.

Centia is dedicated to ongoing professional development because she believes that learning never ends.  She is skilled in a number of procedures and as such represents a holistic approach to dentistry. When she is not busy caring for her patients, she enjoys hiking and outdoor nature.

Analia (Ana) joined the team at Croydon Park Dental Centre in December 2020. As an organised and efficient Dental Practice Manager, Analia comes to the practice with 24 years experience. She enjoys educating and empowering everyone on improving and maintaining their own oral health. Having an extensive background in dental knowledge reflects on her strong work ethic, attitude and eagerness to provide only the best available quality and service to patients. Analia brings a positive mind set, an easy going nature that compliments the practice perfectly.

Her passion for perfection and high expectations is a quality that allows her to go the extra mile for patients to ensure that their experience with us is enjoyable. Analia has an excellent outgoing personality and a warm, pleasant demeanour. When dealing with any matters in the practice, she treats everyone with kindness, respect and equality and makes every patient and staff member feel comfortable with her friendly, bubbly and fun nature. On a personal level, Analia is dedicated to providing a flexible and family focused service where everyone feels welcome, cared for, safe and happy, focusing on providing quality dental treatments and advice to all patients.

Analia has completed her Practice Management, a Certificate in Dental Assisting, First Aid and Medical Emergencies certification along with a Diploma of Welfare and was awarded Employee Excellence from the Local Business Achiever Awards for her dedication to her patients and work.

Outside work Analia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, participating in sport or just enjoying a lunch out! She loves any type of craft from ceramics, paper and sewing as well as being a green thumb and when the opportunity arises, enjoys the patience of fishing.

Connie has enjoyed working in the dental industry with an experience spanning over 20 years. She is caring in nature and is passionate about providing the best dental care for her patients. Connie likes working in a small supportive team environment as she feels that it provides her with opportunities to make a positive impact. Her friendly and calming nature enables her patients to feel comfortable and at ease. Connie would like to study dental radiography in the future.

She enjoys traveling and is hoping to see the west coast of Australia by road.
